♥Love♥

Love is one of those subjects that people just don’t want to talk about, but it is love which creates the foundation of Christianity itself.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

John 3:16, probably the most famous verse in the bible, reads For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Love is everywhere in this world, and love is what drives most people to live and for good reason. We love because God first loved us and everything we do should be motivated out of love.

We all know how powerful his love really is. The sacrifice he made to love us was that he gave His ONE AND ONLY Son and many times we say, ill lay down everything for Christ but He gave his most precious possession just to save mankind, a bunch of lowly worthless sinners.

Think about this. Are you willing to give up EVERYTHING, yes EVERYTHING for God? Many of you might think to yourselves, yea sure I’ll give it all but when the time comes, would you really do it?

Churches are always teaching us how we should love God and love one another, and Christians always proclaim that they love each other but is this really true?

In John 15:12-13, it says, My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lays down his life for his friends.

We should love one another as He loved us.

It is easy to love our friends and if we were to sacrifice our lives for our friend we would probably do it. But we also need to love our enemies, the people we hate. We all have enemies and it probably seems ridiculous that we should love them. But it is God’s command that we have to love your neighbor, friend or foe. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.-Leviticus:19:18. To follow this will be hard, but if we don't love one another how do we love God?

Matthew 22:37-39-Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Proverbs 10:12- Hatred stirs up dissension but love covers over all wrongs.

My point from this very long passage of text is simple.
LOVE GOD AND ONE ANOTHER

God Bless
